Orlando Home Sales Dropping

Startled by low inventory and rising interest rates, Metro Orlando home sales plunged by 11.4 percent last month compared with a year ago.The report released Friday by the Orlando Regional Realtor Association said single-family sales dropped 12.4 percent in that time frame, with condo sales down 3.1 percent.Compared with April, sales rose 1.1 percent but pending sales dropped 7.4 percent.A short supply of homes to sell is playing a role in the drop, ORRA President Lou Nimkoff had stated that something needs to give. We need a change a bigger inventory of homes at reasonable listing prices to keep the market buying a consistent flow!
